Optical coherent tomography

Optical coherent tomography (OCT) with the 10 μm resolution is the most precise invasive coronary imaging technique at present. A lot

of highly interested information has been shown in the early OCT experimental research especially in the field of drug-eluting stents

healing and some of the vessel wall pathologies. This technique seems to have a big potential for future more broader indication in in

daily practise.
